Mahat Ahmed

Mahat Abdi Ahmed was born on February 10, 1991. I spent my early years in challenging conditions, growing up in the Dadaab refugee camp. Despite the difficulties, I was determined to pursue an education. I completed my high school education in Dadaab, where I demonstrated resilience and a strong commitment to learning. Driven by a passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact, Mahat went on to pursue higher education. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Mount Kenya University, where he developed a solid foundation in computing and technology. Career: Mahat's professional journey is marked by a dedication to humanitarian work and a commitment to protecting vulnerable children. He has served as a Child Protection Officer with Save the Children in both Kenya and Somalia. In this role, Mahat has worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of children in some of the most challenging environments. In addition to his work with Save the Children, Mahat has also embraced the flexibility and opportunities of freelancing. His skills in computer science have allowed him to take on various projects, further broadening his professional experience and expertise. Interests and Personal Life: Outside of his professional endeavors, Mahat has a keen interest in reading novels. This hobby not only provides him with a means of relaxation but also allows him to explore different perspectives and cultures through literature. Additionally, I enjoy playing football, which helps me to stay active and connected with friends and community members.
